Flurbiprofen Sodium Eye Drops are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used to keep pupils from constricting during ophthalmic surgery. It is also used to treat pain, redness, inflammation, and light sensitivity in the eyes. This drug is also prescribed for uveitis before or after operations.
This medication is intended for ophthalmic use only.

Uses
What is Flurbiprofen Sodium used for?
It is used to prevent or reduce constriction or narrowing of the pupils during eye surgery. It is also used to treat pain, redness, inflammation, and light sensitivity in the eyes that is associated with uveitis or certain surgical procedures, such as cataract surgery or corneal refractive surgery.
How are Flurbiprofen Sodium Eye Drops used?
This medication is manufactured as a sterile topical solution, which is intended for administration in the eyes. Always wash hands with soap and water before and after using this medication.
What dose should be taken?
For intraop miosis inhibition, the usual dose is 1 drop per eye, given every 30 minutes. Treatment should start 2 hours before ophthalmic surgery.
For eye inflammation, the dose varies according to patient medical condition and cause of inflammation.

Side Effects
