What is Dexamethasone + Neomycin?
Active Ingredients: Dexamethasone Phosphate, Neomycin Sulfate
Dexamethasone Phosphate + Neomycin Sulfate Eye Drops are a combination steroid-antibiotic drug used to treat infection and inflammation caused by conditions like allergies, uveitis, and iritis. It relieves symptoms such as swelling, irritation, and redness and reduces the risk of infection.
Dexamethasone Phosphate belongs to a class of drugs known as corticosteroids. It works to decrease the immune system's response, which reduces symptoms like itching, swelling, redness, and allergic reactions.
Neomycin Sulfate is classified as an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It works by inhibiting protein synthesis within the bacteria cell. Neomycin Sulfate shows action against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
