Tilmicosin Phosphate Premix is an antibiotic feed supplement used to treat infections like BRD and ORD from Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica and reduces the risk of cattle developing bovine respiratory disease and enzootic pneumonia. It can prevent pneumonia in cows, rabbits, poultry, and pigs.
Tilmicosin is a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic, which works by inhibiting protein synthesis. Tilmicosin shows a broad spectrum of activity against Mycoplasma and gram-positive organisms, such as Staphylococcus.

What is Tilmicosin Phosphate used for?
It's used to control swine respiratory disease caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida and to reduce morbidity associated with bovine respiratory disease (BRD) due to Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, or Histophilus somni.
What animals can be treated with Tilmicosin Phosphate Premix?
It's recommended for poultry, rabbits, and livestock like pigs and beef cattle.
How is Tilmicosin Phosphate Premix used?
This product has been manufactured as powder, which is intended to be mixed into feed. The product should be used immediately when mixed with feed.
How should Tilmicosin Phosphate Premix be stored?
This medication should be stored in a dark, dry location under 30°C. Keep the bag sealed tightly when not in use.
What is the withdrawal period for Tilmicosin Phosphate Premix?
The withdrawal time is 14 days for swine and 28 days for cattle.

How much Tilmicosin Phosphate Premix should be used?
The recommended dose for swine in feed is 200-800mg of Tilmicosin per ton of feed over 10-21 days. The exact dosage will depend on the weight and age of the animals, the type of infection, and severity of illness.
