Doxycycline + Colistin + Vitamins Premix is a combination antibiotic and supplement feed additive used to treat and control bacterial infection in poultry, goats, sheep and pigs. It is a convenient treatment that combines two highly effective antibiotics and a range of vitamins that promote healthy growth and recovery.
Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic, which works by inhibiting the first stage of protein synthesis. It is effective against many gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including Bordetella, Campylobacter, Pasteurella, and Mycoplasma.
Colistin is classified as a polymyxin. It works by interfering with and breaking down the cell membrane of the bacteria. Colistin shows activity against many gram-negative microorganisms, including E.coli and Salmonella. Colistin is also known by the name polymyxin E.
This premix also contains the following vitamins: A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, D3, E, K3, and PP.

- has serious renal impairment.

It is not advisable to concurrently treat with penicillin, cephalosporin, quinolone, or cycloserine.
Colistin sulfate's efficacy may decrease in the presence of calcium ions so avoid mixing this product with solutions that contain calcium.
