What is Zolmitriptan?
Active Ingredients: Zolmitriptan
Zolmitriptan Nasal Spray is a drug used to treat migraine headaches (severe, throbbing headaches sometimes accompanied by nausea and light or sound sensitivity). This medication is indicated for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults and children over 12 years of age.
Zolmitriptan is not effective at preventing migraines or treating other types of headaches, such as tension headaches.
This drug is intended for intranasal use only.
Zolmitriptan is classified as a selective serotonin receptor agonist. It works by narrowing blood vessels around the brain. This action prevents pain signals from being sent to the brain and blocks the release of substances that trigger pain, nausea, and other migraine symptoms.
Zolmitriptan Nasal Spray is produced in our GMP-certified facilities in China, India, and the USA. Our factories are routinely inspected to ensure they meet the high standards necessary to comply with WHO guidelines and standards.
