What is Xylometazoline?
Active Ingredients: Xylometazoline
Xylometazoline Nasal Spray is a drug used to temporarily relieve nasal symptoms caused by conditions like the common cold, sinusitis, hay fever, and allergies. This medication can reduce symptoms like stuffy nose and congestion, though it will not cure the condition. This drug is intended for intranasal use only.
Xylometazoline (also spelled xylomethazoline) is classified as a decongestant and alpha adrenergic agonist. It works by shrinking blood vessels in the nose, which reduces congestion and improves breathing ability through the nose.
