This medication is also used to treat bacterial infections that cause bronchitis or pneumonia. Levofloxacin Lactate may be used as a prophylactic treatment to prevent anthrax.
Levofloxacin Lactate may be used to treat bacterial infections that cannot be treated with other antibiotics.
Levofloxacin is classified as a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It works by blocking bacteria from reproducing.
