Levofloxacin Lactate Injection is an antibiotic drug used to treat infections of the skin, sinuses, kidneys, bladder, and prostate. This medication is also used to treat bacterial infections that cause bronchitis or pneumonia. Levofloxacin Lactate may be used as a prophylactic treatment to prevent anthrax.

Levofloxacin Lactate may be used to treat bacterial infections that cannot be treated with other antibiotics.

Levofloxacin is classified as a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It works by blocking bacteria from reproducing.
