Glucose (Dextrose) + Saline (Sodium Chloride) Injection is a solution used as an intravenous rehydration therapy. It provides a source of carbohydrates to treat sodium depletion, loss of body water after being sick or having diarrhea (extracellular dehydration) and low volume of blood in the blood vessels (hypovolemia).
This injection is manufactured as a single-dose container for intravenous administration.
Saline is also known by the names of NaCl or Sodium Chloride.
