What is Mebendazole?
Active Ingredients: Mebendazole
Mebendazole Boluses are an anthelmintic drug used to treat and control parasitic infections in cows. It is effective against gastrointestinal worms, lungworms, whipworms, tape worms, and liver flukes. For more stubborn infections, Mebendazole may be combined with other drugs, such as trichlorfon.
Mebendazole belongs to the family of medications called anthelmintics. It works by inhibiting tubulin polymerization. As an effect, the worm's ability to utilize glucose is impaired, which results in immobilization and death.
This formulation is intended to be prescribed by a veterinary doctor or animal care specialist for an animal.
