How should Bromhexine Syrup be used?

This medication is manufactured as a liquid, which is intended to be administered orally.

What dose should be taken?

• For adults and children over 12 years of age, the usual dose is 10ml, taken 3 times per day.
• For children from 6 to 12 years of age, the usual dose is 5ml, taken 3 times per day.
• For children from 2 to 5 years of age, the usual dose is 2.5ml, taken 3 times per day.

The duration of treatment should not exceed 14 days, unless directed by a doctor.
