What is Niclosamide?
Active Ingredients: Niclosamide
Niclosamide Tablets are an anthelmintic drug used to treat infections caused by certain types of tapeworms, such as broad/fish tapeworms, dwarf tapeworms, and beef tapeworms. This medication will not be effective against infections caused by other types of worms, such as pinworms or roundworms.
Niclosamide is classified in the family of medicines called anthelmintics. When the drug comes into contact with the tapeworm, it kills it on contact. These worms are then passed through the patient’s stool.
